The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shanghai is looking for a female or a male security guard for visitor control starting beginning of May 2025
Full-time positions (40 hours per week).
The duties include the following tasks:
Security checks on visitors to the Consulate General, including individual and baggage checks
Waiting room supervision
Requirements:
Professional experience as a security guard
Knowledge of Chinese at a native level (Mandarin)
sufficient knowledge of English or German to communicate with non-Chinese visitors
Polite and confident demeanor
high level of commitment, flexibility and resilience; Service orientation and strong teamwork skills, good organizational skills
Valid residence and work permit for non-Chinese applicants
Minimum age: 25 years
applicants who have already reached retirement age cannot be considered
